In this video, Jeremy Cioara covers Cisco’s revisions to one of their flagship certifications, CCNA Routing and Switching. He’ll review changes to CCNA R&S as well as what they mean to you and how that affects training updates. These changes will affect the ICND1 100-105, ICND2 200-105, and CCNA 200-125.
Jeremy covers a lot of ground in this video, starting with why Cisco eliminated OSPF from ICND1 and went with RIP only. He’ll discuss how the ICND1v3 exam better evaluates the big picture, including collapsed core, DNS, DHCP, Firewall, and WAPs/Controllers. This also means that ICND1v3 will include more questions about day-to-day monitoring. In the update, Cisco removed the frame relay and focus on software-defined networks — we’ll discuss why they made these decisions and how that impacts you. Finally, the video will examine what you need to know about QoS and the cloud. After watching this video, you’ll know what to expect out of ICND1 100-105, ICND2 200-105, and CCNA 200-125.
