The engine has 8 pistons at the hot end and another 8 pistons at the cold end, connecting the pistons at each end by ducts in a 90 degree arrangement.
This is a closed-cycle heat engine, which works with the temperature difference between the cold 8 cylinder and the hot cylinder. To heat the 8 hot cylinders, gas is used as the energy source.
Its rotation is 1200 rpm, with a torque similar to any other Stirling engine.
