Every Downtown Cleveland restaurant is ready for a comeback. This is one of the industries hit hardest by the pandemic. But they are now poised to turn it around.

Restaurants around the country have collectively lost $280 billion in sales due to the pandemic, according to recent data provided by the Ohio Restaurant Association.

At least 3 restaurants on East 4th Street in downtown Cleveland have permanently closed, including Michael Symon’s Lola after 24 years in business. That’s just one of 3,000 restaurants that closed in Ohio over the past 14 months.
