I'm interested in health solutions that work with our bodies' own powerful systems. I'm not convinced that Metformin or NMN does that.
We all want to stay young, preferably forever, but should we be taking supplements? Sinclair says yes! Of course, we want to believe him! But don’t fall for phony supplements. We all want to live longer, but stick with the tried and true. Exercise, including weight training, watch your weight and perfect your sleep! Sustainable and there are no side effects!!

He now promotes NMN an NAD+ precursor and sirtuin activator for anti-aging, in both humans and in dogs. According to studies, the dosage and safety is yet unknown. NMN may do nothing but worse it may promote tumors in a certain phase of cancer growth.
He also advocates taking Metformin, a drug approved for Type 2 diabetes that is thought to ward off aging. The anti-aging faithful are already taking it. Please note that Sinclair’s audience is pretty young, so taking an unnecessary unsubstantiated possibly harmful medication for decades is not a great risk benefit profile. Also note that Metformin blunts the beneficial effects of physical activity.
