Building a scale model car basically consists of 3 steps: preparing the parts, painting the parts, and the assembly. In this video, I will break down the first step and show you how to prepare the body of a plastic model car for primer and paint. I will also introduce some of the basic hand tools you will need such as side cutters(nippers) and panel line scribers. If you have just bought your first model car kit but you have no idea where to start, then this video might be helpful to you.
