This video is about how to get water level rise up in a jar against gravity. You need a clear glass/plastic jar, candle, water and color to add more interesting. Burning candle rises the water level upside against gravity. Its a awesome science projects / experiments for kids to do at home.
***********SCIENCE BEHIND THE SCENE***************
There is multiple things happening behind this burning candle rising water level experiments, but 2 are most important reason.
1-The air in the bottle/ flasks expands and forces its way out of the bottle because of candle flame. Once oxygen in consumed, flame goes off, air cools inside the bottle/flasks. Air contracts and creates vacuum inside. This creates lower pressure inside the bottle than outside and the greater pressure outside the bottle suck the water level up side. .
2-Candle flame burn the oxygen inside bottle / flasks. It use more volume of oxygen to burn and produce less volume of CO2 or other burning side products. Which create a high volume inside bottle which sucks boiled egg in it

When we ignore to their curiosity, it goes otherwise. And these tools can be as simple as water, egg, ice etc in house. Just make every day a learning day, you do not need to be a scientist to answer little question. Kids are always fully engaged in questioning, observing, testing, thinking, and learning. They are in a sense “doing science” when digging in the dirt, playing with balls, picking colorful stones, leaves etc,

WHO WE ARE? : My wife and me are full time Research Scientist in Cancer field in USA and have grown up in real wild village in India. We also have a lot of knowledge about parenting and kids, gained solely by reading and experiencing with my kids. It all just came naturally to me after I became a dad.
