Signal on the left: 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights.
This tail-ring malfunction happened not too long after the local passed. As you can see, the gate arm on this side somehow managed to get stuck in between the overhead lights here, which caused the gate mech to start drawing much more current than normal when raising, which caused the Safetran Type 3 to start sounding scratchy before cutting out entirely prior to the gate arm freeing itself from the lights. I would've mentioned this in the description of my previous video of the crossing, but YouTube wouldn't've allowed it for being "too long". Clearly the lull in traffic there for a few years didn't do this crossing any favors.
