Unlock the Shoulder Joint with This Massage Routine
Our shoulders, the magnificent joints connecting our arms to our bodies, are prone to stress and tension due to daily activities and sedentary lifestyles. In this video, Erik Dalton uses a shoulder massage routine to restore their optimal function of the shoulder. These techniques use the bones as levers to mobilize the soft tissue in internal and external rotation, as well as abduction. He also uses a soft tissue mobilization technique he calls “scrubbing the tubercle” to reduce compression in the glenohumeral joint.
As you practice shoulder massage routine get feedback from your client throughout the routine. If they encounter any pain or discomfort, adjust the intensity or switch up the technique.
