As you can tell, Gloria was the only song the Grateful Dead played proper, but Jerry obviously had a ton of respect for Van the Man and covered many of his songs in concert with JGB and his associated acts. Morrison never appeared on stage with any Dead members, at least within known record. After Garcia passed in 1995, Grateful Dead continuing acts played Into The Mystic and in 2005 Bill joined Mike and Trey from Phish during their hiatus to play a really sick version of Sweet Thing, the bonus content here. After playing the song portion, they go straight into a great jam that sounds a bit like Slave and a Piper jam at points. A must hear!
