If you have one of these engines, then you will know that sometimes it can be hard work pull starting them. The conversion to electric start makes these engines much easier to live with and won`t tire out your drinking arm at the end of a good days fishing!
This kit is the ideal solution for anyone that suffers from back, shoulder or heart problems. NOTE: To know whether this kit will suit your engine, you will need to check the engine prefix on the serial plate located on transom bracket of your engine. This kit suits engines with prefix codes 66T,66TK. If you have any other code, this kit will not suit your engine.
Suits the following Yamaha models:
E40XMH (66T, 66TK) from 1998 - 2017
Yamaha do not produce an electric start conversion kit for these engines.
