1000 chaotic quadruple pendulums using almost identical initial conditions simulated and rendered simultaneously in real time. The simulation demonstrates the butterfly effect and chaos in dynamical systems as depicted by the exponentially diverging trajectories of the perturbed systems.
The pendulums are simulated using higher order explicit symplectic integrators.
