The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland ran a week long tour of Ireland by train. The guests on board travelled to nearly every line in Ireland. The tour ran from Thursday the 18th of June - Wednesday the 24th of June 2015.
On Thursday NIR 111 class loco No. 8111 was supposed to bring the empty RPSI Mk2 stock to Dublin so that the passengers could be picked up and then go on to Belfast, however, 8111 failed at Poyntzpass which meant the whole tour was cancelled, but the Evening run back to Dublin wasn't.
While waiting on the return journey from Belfast, I headed over to Claude Road footbridge in Drumcondra where I got Irish Rail 071 class No. 078 is seen passing with the Craven Stock transfer.
After that it was off to Clontarf Road where we see NIR 111 class loco number 112 passing light engine for Connolly.
Then 85 'Merlin' passed Portmarnock with the RPSI Mk2 stock while heading to Connolly, 112 did transfer the Mk2s back to Belfast late that Night, but it was far to late for me to stay out.
Early the next Morning we head out to Park West & Cherry Orchard where we see RPSI K2 locomotive number 461 passing light engine for Portarlington, shortly after 85 'Merlin' soon follows with the Craven Coaches.
Then on the day the tour returned from its week long trip of Ireland we he head up to Glasnevin where we see RPSI K2 loco number 461 passing light engine for Connolly. Later that Evening 85 'Merlin' then passes Claude Road with the Craven Coaches.
Then the next day after the tour was completely finished 85 'Merlin' is seen passing Howth Junction light engine while on its way back to Whitehead.
Footage was taken on Thursday the 18th, Friday the 19th, Wednesday the 24th and Thursday the 25th of June 2015.
