This video is the building of the jig and the ladders for a wine cellar. Designed for normal, 750ml bottles, a case below the display shelf. I am making 2 runs of the racking and a Cascading Rack. To keep it all organized, I recommend and use CellarTracker. [ Ссылка ]
The critical dimension here is 3.5". That's the spacing between all the elements and will perfectly fit a 750ml bottle. I made the runners 11" long. The cascade racking (double sided) was 23.75", but if I were to build this again, I'd make it 25". I was fighting for every inch in this cellar.
When building the jig, notice how a accounted for the ledgers on the front by increasing the spacing so the bottom of the ledger, when installed, would be 3.5" away/ above from the runner. I made the ledgers 1.5" wide.
When installing, the racking needs to be away from the wall by at least 2.25", I accomplished this by using 3 - 3/4" thick ledgers. The savings in wood overall is worth the racking being away from the wall.

Stay tuned for the installation.
