Grand Canyon beauty: Female Elk (aka: a cow) and her herd nearby were grazing & crossing the southbound, westside route at dusk. These creatures along with bisons are a thrill to see in their natural habitat. We pulled over and stayed very quiet in the car until they all had safe passage. Of course, traffic stopped and everyone stayed put as its dangerous to get out. As we all know, animals are unpredictable especially those in the wild. #shorts #elk
