Today i am testing the Beefer Pro One, a particular device for grilling like in a New York SteakHouse. At 800°C (1,500 °F) it sear my angus ribeye steak in only 60 seconds!
The recipe is very simple:
- Angus Ribeye Steak
- Salt
- Pepper
- Potatoes
The potatoes cooked in this way are enriched with the dripping of the meat during cooking giving that extra boost of flavor! Only caution: the cooking time of the meat is practically nil (in 5 minutes the steak is ready) so you must pre-cook the potatoes. (I boiled them for 30 minutes) and then cooked in the Beefer for the cooking time of 4 steaks and they were perfect.
