The day of Rishi Panchami is the death anniversary of sir R. G. Bhandarkar, and hence every year on the day of Rishi Panchami, the institute arranges a commomorative lecture in his memory.
This year the lecture took place on September 01, 2022. Dr. K. Paddayya, Prof. K. Paddayya, (Professor Emeritus, Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Deemed to be a University, Pune), was the esteemed speaker for the occasion. The topic of lecture was "Sir Ramkrishna Gopal Bhandarkar: Contemporary Relevance of his Indological Thought and Method*.
