This is a really cool mostly complete ride thru of "it's a small world" at Disneyland from 1993. This is really great because it's from the Summer of that year, so it is one of the very earliest videos that I've seen with the John Debney soundtrack. This is because the 1992 John Debney soundtrack, recorded for Disneyland Paris version of the ride, replaced the original 1964/66 Bobby Hammack soundtrack for the decade between 1993-2002. Allegedly this was because they lost the original masters, but somehow they continued to use the original Hammack soundtrack in Florida and Tokyo into the 21st century. In 2002, they found the original masters, restored them, and brought back the original/restored Bobby Hammack soundtrack to Disneyland in 2003. That one has also been implemented in most other versions since then, except for Paris which uses the 1992 soundtrack heard here (with a few 2015 alterations). So this footage is really cool because it's just after they installed the Debney soundtrack. It is a pretty typical ride through of it's a small world from this time period, complete with every room except for the Goodbye room. There's also some nice shots of the newly pastel coated Clock tower and façade on a 1993 Summer evening. This was when it was actually very vibrant and colorful, before these colors faded in the late 90's and early 00's. You will notice that they played the English audio in the Japan/Korea/China scene, which was like that from the mid 1980's until 2003, first using the Hammack soundtrack and beginning in 1993 they used the Debney soundtrack. This was still 15 years before the 2008 refurbishment so there are no Disney characters or "Spirit of America" scene in sight and I love that. This is also some of the best footage I have seen of it's a small world from this time period, so I hope you enjoy.
