This story means a lot to me. For those who are seeing this for the first time, this is a film and not really a "Youtube" style video. Its probably better watched with time, focus and maybe even on something bigger than a phone. For those who have been following the story, at the end of Part 9, things looked pretty grim. November was coming to a close, the rut was winding down, and not only did the big buck go awol, but deer had become scarce on the property.

I got back into the ash tree again in the pre-dawn darkness, not expecting much to happen and as the sun finally began to rise, so did the action. Six does made their way toward my setup to feed and on this still morning, that could make things tough. I sat down to make sure I could be very still as they worked their way closer. Suddenly, up on the hill, my eyes catch movement and the monster buck is following a doe headed my way. As soon as I recognized them, they dipped into the brush toward bedding and my hopes began to dissipate. The original group of 6 came closer and as I watched them, suddenly the huge buck appears at 30 yards coming out of the woods alone. He goes to check all the does as I procure better settings on the camera and mental chaos ensues. What happens next is almost a blur.
