Scientists have revealed what caused a monster fatberg to form in the sewers of the seaside town of Sidmouth in England.
Cooking fats, hygiene products and a few random items including false teeth, were found in the study of the blockage, but no detectible levels of toxic chemicals.
The giant fatberg, measuring 64 meters (210 feet) in length, was discovered in December 2018, and was described by officials as a “monster”.
