Police and local officials are updating the public about Sunday’s mass shooting at a festival in Gilroy, CA. The gunman killed 3 people, including a 6-year-old boy, and wounded at least 12. There have been 42 U.S. mass shootings in the first 28 days of July, according to the Gun Violence Archive, which says America is on track for the highest total of mass shootings (about 427) since the group began collecting data in 2014.
