I bought the Roadie Tuner 3 and was extremely disappointed in the performance of the unit. I wanted to love this thing, as it was going to save me from thinking when doing alternate tunings, or even just changing strings. Unfortunately for me, this tuner was unable to tune the two guitars I tried it out on. I have nearly 40 guitars, and I would have been nice to have a robot do the work... but you can't record with instruments that are out of tune.

Your mileage may vary, so take this as one man's experience. I did try to show you everything that went on as I tested this. While I didn't record it, I did try the unit with the guitar held in a playing position as well and the results were the same. I will be returning the unit to Sweetwater in the morning.
