This was my first flight across the Atlantic since the US reopened their borders after closing them due to the pandemic. It was a hugely exciting moment and I hadn't flown with Virgin Atlantic for years. So it was nice to get back into a plane where the seats are red and the crew wears red and it all feels a little different. This is my trip report, showing what it was like to travel in economy class on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight from London Heathrow to Miami. This film is a review not just of the plane but of the food and the entertainment and the leg room etc. I'm going to be honest. It was a fine flight but I did feel that perhaps costs were being cut and I could feel it. It's understandable that airlines are trying to recoup their losses after a disastrous couple of years when few people travelled anywhere, but as a passenger I don't like to FEEL those costs being cut.
