With the closure of AstroWorld in 2005, this park was/is the lone Six Flags Property in the Houston area, after being acquired by Six Flags in 1999 to reduce competition with Waterworld. However, Six Flags sold the property in 2007 before reacquiring the operating rights in 2018.
Currently, the park is a solid family park - with some decent tube slides, solid family raft slides, and a nice collection of kiddie and family play pools. The odd path arrangements and overall feel of the park makes it seem like there wasn't a strong design plan when building it, but does work well once you get a good feel for how the park is set up.
