Coming at you with part one of a two part series on this render I call, "Secret spot". I usually like to finish renders in one video but to be honest I really like this one and wanna spend more time on it so tonight I will most likely spend about 1-2 more hours on this and finish it.
In this video we set up some landscape objects to create a sort of "cave/cavern" vibe. We also do a little more advanced modeling techniques to smooth out jagged/blocky edges. My project actually crashes in this video but luckily I was able to recover it LOL. Always save your shit guys. We also add some arcs with emissive lighting , water, and some rocks/crystals in the mix. Oh and also a new technique for creating floor displacement in a cool way with layers :)
