In a previous video, I spoke about how to select your #PhDlife #PhD project and the importance of project, people, and place. Now you have thought about this and made a shortlist, the next step is the nerve-racking #interview #interviewskills process. For many of you this will be the first interview for a job and therefore I have gathered some tips/advice for you.

Tip 1: an interview for a PhD is not the same as applying for a job; we will look for #potential and do not expect you to have all the #skills at the beginning of the project. Instead, we will look for a motivated candidate who we can train to become a skilled #researcher.
