The Great Wall of Lagos is the backbone of Eko Atlantic. This mighty sea revetment protects the emerging new city as well as Victoria Island from the threat of flooding due to ocean surge.

The wall’s design was tested to the highest international standards. When finished, the Great Wall will be 8.5 kilometers in length. The structure has already passed the half way stage and exceeds 5 kilometres.
