I call it 'the forbidden carving board', because this freeride board was not designed with carving in mind, but rails better than some dedicated softboot carving boards.
This groomer is actually a connecting cat track. It's quite narrow, so there's little time to change edges and turns need to be fully completed in S-shapes to control the speed.
If you're still learning, this clip might offer some insights.
- Hips and chest remain open to the riding direction at all times
- Eyes are looking far into the following turn, aiming for the spot of highest angulation right in the fall line
- Stable flat base moment in between turns with body going to fully neutral / ready position
- Trying to remain shoulders level to the slope not leaning into the turns with the upper body, but bringing the hips to the snow
