These video shows some things related to the SRAW that I feel should be addressed to make it more accessible to new and inexperienced players. With the end goal of reducing DICE's assumed need for lock-on weapons/gadgets.
Combine all these issues and you have a specific weapon in the game that has an unbalanced ratio compared to other weapons in this category in regards to risk vs reward vs satisfaction.
More to add to the topic of lock-on weapons I'd settle for the tracer dart system in BC2. Why? Because while some could argue that system was just as skill-less as the lock-on weapons we see today in BF3 and BF4 it did take some practice to land the dart and get a successful lock not to mention the tracer dart system required the player to sacrifice their secondary slot for the dart gun. There is no sacrificing in BF3/BF4.
I'll add more details here to explain things presented in the video if they need further explanation or if I want to mention more about these issues.
I'm not forcing you to but if you agree with some of the things mentioned I ask that you link it to relevant DICE developers in a non-threatening way. Although from the sounds of it most of them have already moved on to other projects it would be nice if some of these things were addressed, for the greater good.
