Henry did not get well quickly from his total knee replacement surgery as he had hoped.
In fact he had to undergo a Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) within weeks of the surgery. His body rapidly created car tissue (Fibrosis) which inhibited his recovery. This is a common occurrence and can derail a recovery if the patient is not active and vigilant about rehabilitation.
Thanks to the X10 Knee Recovery System he recovered well from his Manipulation Under Anesthesia. Henry is back breeding horses on his farm and boating on the beautiful lakes of Michigan.

"The day of surgery I had 90 degree mobility and scar tissue just started forming immediately apparently because by the time I got home in three days I was at 57 degrees. The therapist says I'm doing fine, you're right on schedule but then I went back to the doctor and he took my leg and bent it about 15 degrees and said, "Oh, you need a manipulation." I thought, "Oh, thanks." I've coached our lacrosse team for 10 years. I couldn't get back on the field. I couldn't get around, I've got ... We run a farm. We breed horses. I've got things to do. I couldn't be sitting around at 85 or 90 degrees. I'm a little impatient, need things done.
I found out the problems I was having prior to getting on a machine because I just couldn't move my leg. Once I got on the machine and started working I found out how much scar tissue had built up. Without that I don't know what I'd done because physical therapy two or three days a week doesn't do it. You have to get on that machine and work and work and work, two or three times a day. That's the only way to either break up the scar tissue or keep more from forming. I'd probably still be at 85 or 90 degrees if I was on my own without the X10.
He scheduled that and I kept going into the other after the manipulation I kept working on the machine, kept going to therapy. I got up to, yesterday I was up to 110 degrees and I can do everything as long as I stay on the machine. In fact, I go on the machine before I go to therapy to loosen everything up. I go 95 to 100 and I go on there I do a free pull to 110 degrees while her contraption's on it. She said that's about all I'm going to get. In fact, I've got three more therapy sessions and I'm done. It's an eye opening experience. This X10 machine it's a life saver for me because I plan on boating all this weekend and I know I wouldn't be doing it without that machine."
