A few years ago I posted an off-screen playthrough of the Bomb level on the obscure NUON game Freefall 3050 A.D. Finally, here's a direct capture, although taken from the PC version. The only differences are better graphics (oddly enough, the screen aspect ratio was kept at 5:4) and worse controls (playing with the NUON gamepad is much better).
While I was a fan of this game back in the day, playing it these many years later I realize that it wasn't a terribly good game. Innovative yes, but fun, not for most of it. This is because the enemies you tend to encounter are total bullet sponges with a brief immunity window after they get hit. It makes taking them out a chore instead of exciting or entertaining. The 4th segment of the levels where you have to navigate a stupid maze of air was also never my favorite as it often felt like it was luck getting you along than skill.
Overall, this is an oddball that most people will never play, but if you enjoy tough games that are different from the norm, then it may fit the bill.
