This fun activity focuses on developing catching, throwing, eye-hand coordination, and teamwork. Students are grouped into several teams, and a few markers are placed in front of each team. All the players have a ball except the first player. As soon as the start signal is given, the first player stands behind the first marker, and the other players start throwing the ball at the first player. If they catch the ball, they will place it on the first marker and move to the second marker. To move to the third marker, they will have to catch again the ball thrown at them; when caught, they will place the ball on the second marker, and the same has to be done at the third marker. If they miss the catch, they cannot progress to the next marker, but the throwers will keep rotating. Once the catcher completes the second last marker, they will run around the last marker. Whichever team finishes first will be the winner. All the players get a chance to be the catcher. To make it easier, reduce the distance between each marker or use a bigger ball size.
