Every July, us spooky people get the Summer Spooks. The Summer Spooks is when, despite the ever increasing temperatures outside, you get the sudden urge to watch horror movies, buy Halloween decor, and unpack sweaters. Fourth of July is over and the next big holiday is Halloween. So you decide it is Halloween. You decide August is a perfectly acceptable time to decorate for Fall. You stare at your (fake) skeleton collection. You tell your creepy dolls “just a little longer”. You start to put on Halloween music in the background. You Pinterest costume ideas. You buy an odd amount of Halloween-themed clothing. You rage at Trader Joe’s to just put out their Fall-themed food already. And you….make your Halloween tbr. Enjoy my Halloween tbr. 👻⠀
