Pastor Don Fitzkee’s sermon title is “We Have No King but Jesus,” based on 1 Samuel 8: 4-22 and John 19: 15. Despite God’s warnings, the Israelites rejected God’s rule and demanded a king. Ever since then, the kings of this world have competed with King Jesus for loyalty. Judi Hess and Pastor Misty Wintsch lead worship and soprano Giny Mackey sings “Let There Be Praise” (Tunney).
