Installed 700x40C @40 psi, also notable that the Fr and Rr use opposite thread direction (clearly shown on sidewall how to install).
The video has most of the surface tested. (Semi-smooth Michigan pavement, Crappy Michigan pavement, packed and slightly loose gravel, sandy fire-road, rooty single track). There was downpour and thunderstorm mid-ride so I tested on wet road as well but that's also shorten my ride plan. I know area which has quite deep loose sand, another that has very fast gravel descend and even steeper climb, that must be next time.
The tire feel very supple, very fast smooth rolling on hard pack and pavement. Very noticeable difference from my previous Maxxis rambler, same size and pressure. Wet grip seems to be OK so far. However surely as the center thread is smooth, I notice some wheel spin with hard acceleration on loose gravel.
Another very clear noticeable change in ride quality is riding on wooden boardwalk. This tire can filter all those vibrations very well. even my full sus MTB does not feel that smooth.
Cannot comment much or make comparison on aggressive cornering grip, I'm not good at leaning or willing to take risk for that haha...
