Deactivated Rare HK11A1 7.62mm NATO Light Machine Gun in very good deactivated condition. German Heckler and Koch manufacture with fully moving bolt (under spring pressure, see video), trigger and safety. The HK11A1 stems from the early 1970s and is a box feed version of the HK21. The HK11A1 can actually be adapted to belt feed by substituting the mag well for the belt feed tray in under a minute. It entered service with elite units of the West German army and also entered service with over twenty other countries around the world at the same time. Like all HK products, it is a simple, very reliable design and is unusual for this type of weapon in that it has no gas system. It instead operates a delayed blowback action. Other features include a quick change barrel system and a hinged magazine well, which means the gunner can clear stoppages on the weapon in the prone position and not expose himself to enemy return fire. They have been seen in use by many NATO SF units, and will be around for many years to come. All deactivated weapons sold by D and B Militaria are deactivated in the United Kingdom and hold London or Birmingham proof marks and a certificate stating that the weapon has been deactivated correctly.
