Moong Dal instant dhokla is a very easy to make dhokla at home. Dhokla are steamed savoury cake like snack famous in Gujarat. There are different types of dhoklas which can be made. Here we are using yellow moong dal & rice to make this instant dhokla. This dhokla does not require fermentation of the batter & so it can be prepared without any extra pre-preparation except soaking dal and rice.
Today I am sharing stuffed dhokla recipe and I am going to steam them in glass to give them a nice round shape.
It is very healthy and tasty. It can be served in breakfast or evening snack with green chutney or tomato ketchup.

Rice 1/2 cup (soaked for 2 hours)
Moong dal 1/2 cup(soaked for 2 hours)
Eno 1 sachet
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
Citric acid 1/4 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Boiled potatoes 3(medium size)
Grated carrot 1
Green chillies 3
Ginger piece 1 inch
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilly powder 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Chat masala 1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Sesame seeds 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Chopped onion 1
Some chopped coriander leaves
Some chopped curry leaves
Salt as per taste
Oil as required
