In Drake Bell’s first interview since the release of ‘Quiet on Set,’ in which he reveals that he was abused by dialogue coach Brian Peck, the actor slammed Nickelodeon’s response, calling it ‘empty.’
After the news came to light that Bell had suffered abuse at the hands of Peck, Nickelodeon issued a statement saying, ‘Now that Drake Bell has disclosed his identity as the plaintiff in the 2004 case, we are dismayed and saddened to learn of the trauma he has endured, and we commend and support the strength required to come forward.’
During Bell’s interview on the podcast ‘The Sarah Fraser Show,’ Bell said, ‘It’s a very well-tailored response saying, ‘learning about his trauma,’ because they couldn’t say that they didn’t know about this or what had happened, or anything.’
He added that the response was likely crafted by ‘some big attorney in Hollywood.’
