The reports come just days after the Rocky star, 76, got a tattoo of his wife covered up.
Whilst neither Sylvester or Jennifer have publicly confirmed a split, Jennifer took to Instagram to share a snap of herself with their three daughters.
She cryptically wrote over this: "These girls are my priority. Nothing else matters. The 4 of us forever." She also added the hashtags 'truth', 'family', and 'forever'.
Although Jennifer's Instagram handle still bears her husband's last name, she no longer follows him on Instagram, and, alluding to something big going on in her life, their daughters have thrown their support behind their mother in the comments section on the post.
Sophia, 25, wrote: "You are our rock, cheerleader, and most incredible mom. We are so lucky to have you. love you so much," whilst Sistine, 24, commented: "Strongest woman I know".
Youngest sister Scarlet, 20, simply commented with a black love heart emoji.
Sylvester's publicist, Michelle Bega, has previously denied that there is trouble between the pair, instead insisting that the dog tattoo covering was simply the result of something going wrong with a refresh of the inking of his wife.
She said: "Mr. Stallone intended to refresh the tattoo image of his wife Jennifer however the results were unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable.
"As a result, he had to cover the original image with a tattoo of his dog from Rocky, Butkus.
"Mr. Stallone loves his family. The Stallones are presently filming a reality show together which will debut on Paramount+," Bega added.
Sylvester's tattoo of his wife was still evident on his arm until around 7 August, visible on snaps he posted to Instagram. His wife then posted the cryptic picture with their three daughters on 10 August, and by 16 August, he was getting it covered up with the dog inking.
His tattoo artist Zach Perez posted snaps of him working on the actor's tattoo but later took them down when people started questioning the state of Sylvester's marriage in the comments section.
Sylvester and former model Jennifer married on 17 May 1997 at the posh Dorchester Hotel in London. She is 22 years his junior.
