1️⃣ Chungdam is a Korean BBQ restaurant in Soho, London. It is a high-end Korean BBQ with Pyeonbaek Steam Box.
I mean it is the team behind Hongdae Pocha and Shibuya, so they just know what’s up 🫶
There is few others like Ollie and kk , but they are not as good.
🥬 Vegan Option : ⭕️ (few veggie options but very limited)
🥦 Gluten Free Option : ❌
🥒 Halal : Beef and Chicken are Halal
2️⃣ Pokhara Grill is also very reasonable for London or even if you compare to Seoul. In Seoul, a famous #잠수교집 sells frozen pork belly cost 10 pounds for 160g 🥓. And @pochawagrill cost only 13 pounds for 200g.
Also the genzs are talking marinated pork (#돼지갈비 ) at #pochawagrill 🍖 And they are absolutely right. It is really good ❤️
🥬 Vegan Option : ❌
🥦 Gluten Free Option : ❌
🥒 Halal : Chicken is Halal (except chicken gyoza)
3️⃣ There are these little nuances you can catch and feel of a Korean owned family owned restaurants. Myunga got that Asian restaurant feeling that one day the son will take over and renovate to expand their business.
🥬 Vegan Option : ❌
🥦 Gluten Free Option : ❌
🥒 Halal : Chicken is Halal
📝 Treestone Butcher is a Korean butcher where you can buy all the meat cuts that sell at Korean BBQ restaurants in London. It is a lot cheaper than restaurants and meat quality is excellent. If you want to DIY, I highly recommend ❤️ location : New Malden or Golders Green
