How to make a mini forge for knife making. In this video I show how to make a cheap heat treating forge, and see whether you can realistically heat treat a knife using it. You could probably forge a small knife using this mini forge but mainly its for heat treating after stock removal. This is a great way to get started with knife making. You can absolutely heat treat a knife using a mini forge like this one, if you pay attention to a couple details.
