In this talk, Penny Jin talks about the benefits of performing arts. Emphasizing on creativity and curiosity, she states that it is one of the few careers that will not be replaced by artificial intelligence. She also suggests that performing arts will facilitate the development of soft skills critical to our society. Penny Jin is the founder of iStage Academy, a bilingual performing arts academy providing students as well as adults performing arts programs at three different locations in Lujiazui, Jinqiao Biyun, and former French concession. Before moving to Shanghai, Penny studied and lived in the UK and Hong Kong, where she developed her passion for performing arts.
