TORTA CEBUANA... If you had travelled to the southern part of Cebu, particularly in the municipality of Argao, this kind of Torta is the best selling product of the street food vendors. Torta de Cebu is a cupcake like delicacy made from flour, butter, milk, and the generous amount of eggyolks added that makes the sweet dish special.
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup hot water
2 cup all purpose flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp fine salt
10 pcs eggyolks
1/2 cup melted butter
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
