Welcome to the John Assaraf site or my blog now I hope you're enjoying the view here at my home and we're gonna be doing these short little video blogs on a regular basis just to connect with you and to give you some tidbits on how to really take your life and maybe your business to the next level one of the things that I learned many years ago is the power of setting goals and the power of setting goals is really critical because of a few factors number one it really helps you understand and determine exactly what it is that you want to achieve whether it's your health goals your relationship goals your career goals business goals spirituality goals or charitable goals whatever they are the more clear you are about writing them down precisely the better it is gonna be free you and the easier it is gonna be for you to achieve them the reason I say this is twofold number one you will know what not to look for and that is just as important as knowing what to look for take a few moments today or this week and ask yourself what do I really really want to achieve in each area of my life write it down precisely also put a timeline on when you want to achieve it by so what are your one-year goals what are your three year goals maybe your five year goals and then work backwards to what can you do today this week next week and the week after to move you towards that goal it takes a little bit of planning that takes a little bit of time to really focus on what it is you want to do so number one it'll teach you what you don't want number two it'll help your brain focus on what you do.
