Hi, this is the first Touhou video in this channel (by that I mean not fanmade games, but the official ones). I've played a number of Touhou shmups and I've got to say that Imperishable Night is definitely my favourite. I like the Last Word feature and wish more mainline games had this too. Some of these are somewhat easy, others are pretty hard. Here's what I've to say for each of them:

00:00 - Wriggle (Magic Team):
This one is difficult to do with Marisa and/or Alice as you have to keep slipping through the waves of red and blue shots. The best time to do so is when the green and yellow shots are out of the way, then stay against a row of red or blue and slip through when the row of shots pass.

00:32 - Mystia (Youmu):
Not a good idea to keep your volume off. The arrowheads are aimed, so move aside when you hear them approach, while micrododging the green shots. Sometimes it's hard to avoid the greens.

00:59 - Keine (Magic Team):
I took a while in this one because I decided to destroy the summons first, as I thought that simply doing it normally isn't hard enough. Be careful of the crisscrossing blue shots.

02:20 - Reisen (Marisa):
Just move up and down. Simple, but be careful when weaving through still blue shots and falling red ones.

03:04 - Eirin (Sakuya):
Did it with the worst shot type (very low damage) to make it challenging. You'll kind of have to rely on luck in this one, but try to stay an equal distance between any two lasers Eirin initially casts, because staying too close to them will make you more likely to align with the spawn points of the bullets.

04:08 - Kaguya (Ghost Team):
Pretty hard when you have to go around the top while avoiding the rain of rainbow shots. Moving in squares more than in circles might make this smoother.

04:48 - Mokou (Magic Team):
I find this hard because of the multi-wave phase where you have to keep micrododging while avoiding the aimed phoenixes. Move too slow and you will get phoenix-ed. Move too fast and you might eat a shard.

05:24 - Tewi (Reimu):
Just keep moving left and right while staying high enough to avoid the shower of rice bullets. After each wave, try to realign yourself ASAP, as the lasers are angled to your position, and if they are not straight enough then dodging can be weird.

06:04 Keine EX (Ghost Team):
A pretty difficult spell, due to the out-of-sync behaviour of some of the rows of rice shots. The gaps keep changing shape, and there's little time to decide where to move.

06:37 - Reimu (Alice):
Some people might get mad at me for saying this, but I think I find this Last Word to be the easiest. Don't get me wrong - it took me 460+ attempts to get it right the first time (I died several times at 0 seconds, ow), but that is because I didn't know how to handle the last 4 seconds or so. Once I figured it out (admittedly by watching a video), I learned an easier method to deal with it, and it made the spell 20x easier. It's a pretty consistent method that allowed me to capture this spell 3 times in a row. You can follow what I did, or you might have a chance to slip underneath a row of amulets at the bottom during 1 second remaining, making it easier to finish off, but it doesn't happen often as there's still some randomness to this spell - Reimu keeps moving about in all directions, and you'll need her to go high enough for this alternative path to be there.

07:18 - Marisa (Border Team):
This spell is pretty much just SPPEEEEEEDD. I've noticed that if you maintain your movement patterns, the stars will also behave in a similar (if not the same) manner every time you do this spell, making it somewhat easy.

07:58 - Sakuya (Magic Team):
ZA WARUDO! Make sure you aren't still just before Skukuy stops time to avoid having the knives spawn on you. The yellows are easy to avoid, but try not to get in the trajectory of any of the blue knives.

08:35 - Youmu (Border Team):
I really don't like this one. 240~ attempts with Magic Team. I was very lucky to get it right in just 3 tries with this team.

09:22 - Alice (Scarlet Team):
The rice patterns are static, but nevertheless scary. Varying bullet speeds causes me confusion, especially when streaming. Somewhat hard.

10:01 - Remilia (Border Team):
Again, a scary static pattern (this one is aimed though). Gets EXTREMELY fast, but won't be so bad if you stay dead in the center of the pattern. Still, ouch.

10:39 - Fat Ghost [Yuyuko] (Magic Team):
Really tricky spell; a harder version of her final spell in PCB. I'm aware that there's a safespot trick, but I didn't want to wait for luck to be on my side. Lucky to have captured this one quickly. I abuse Malice cannon to end this quickly.

11:04 - Old Hag [Yukari] (Yuyuko):
Not so hard, just very long. It's funny how there's no need to move in the first wave. Hardest parts are where you've got to move in a spiral, as I suck at movement control.
