In this video, a Particle in a 3 Dimensional Box is tackled.
Separation of Variables Technique is used to solve the differential equation.
The Wave Function used is a function of (x, y, z) and is expressed as a product of three functions each with a different variable.
With the use of Separation of Variables were are able to solve the differential Equation which brought us to an amazing form to which Energy can be viewed and expressed.
Eventually, we arrive at an expression of Total Energy which can be viewed to have a sum of three contributions in 3D.
