The valve was not seating properly anymore and was leaking into the intake in a "closed" position. It has some debris between the valve seat and the valve itself. Not sure, but probably messed up the air intake reading sometimes and boost pressure giving me errors like:
ECM-1517 Turbo control - Pressure too high
ECM-1540 Turbo control - Pressure too high
ECM-1507 Turbo control - Too low pressure
But I could be wrong and these codes were related to the turbo control motor instead (I have an electric VNT control). Turbo VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbine) was moving freely. It maybe had some intermittent failures that I did not see, but it eventually failed also. Changed both - the EGR valve and turbo control motor same time so there is no way to tell now.
