Roosevelt's Executive Order 9066 signed in February 19, 1942 forced American citizens of Japanese heritage into internment camps. These Japanese Americans suffered as detainee's in poor living conditions and their constitutional rights were suspended.
We should learn a lesson from our history and be careful about executive orders, detainment, and the suspension of constitutional rights. The 9066 Executive Order affected more than 120,000 Japanese Americans. People who were as much citizens as you or I.

FDR is considered by many as one of the best President's that the US has had. This is a dark spot on FDR's great record.
