Today on Booze On The Rocks, we make the LA Sunrise cocktail. This tropical layered cocktail is reminiscent of a typical L.A. sunrise, with it's haze and red sun. The banana liqueur boosts the orange and pineapple juice, creating a sweet base for the rum. Try it out and let me know what you think

LA SUNRISE

2 oz/60 ml White Rum
1 oz/30 ml Vodka
.5 oz/15 ml Banana Liqueur
2 oz/60 ml Orange Juice
2 oz/60 ml Pineapple Juice

Method

1. Add all of the ingredients except the rum to the shaker tin.
2. Shake with ice for 10-15 seconds.
3 Pour into a pint glass over fresh ice.
4. Layer the rum on top.
5. Garnish with a neon red maraschino cherry.
