Hi Friends of guitar music,
this is another little piece that grew from starting with a open chord lesson for my students. Indeed the starting point was the 2. chord of the theme, the F# with open strings - one of my favorite chords.... To make a little chord sequence for practicing out of it, I first thought to start with this F# chord, but then I realized that I have to put this F# "across" the first C#m chord. While writing it in guitar pro, the follwing motives came into my mind, and this piece developed and was written in gp6 in just 1 1/2 hours. In my ears, the chords and the harmonies have something japanese in it - so I called this little tune "Memories of Japan" .... (although I have never been there...;-))) )
