Growing up in California - I didn’t realize the truly unique privelege of living 5 minutes from an In-N-Out Burger. It was even my first real job at 17 years old. But aside from the quality ingredients, the one thing that makes innout stand out, is the secret burger sauce which they call spread. Anthony Bourdain even mentions it in his book “World Travel”. It’s close to thousand island dressing in flavor, but the two certainly aren’t intergangeable. In this video, I give the homemade in n out spread recipe that I’ve curated over the years. Having some sauce to make animal style fries or an animal style burger at home just can’t be beat - especially if you don’t live near the restraunt.
